Dr. Jenny Li, OTD, OTR/L
A pediatric occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience — from hospital settings and rehabilitation centers to homes and community spaces across Greater Boston.
Training & philosophy
Dr. Li earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and completed her doctoral research at a community rehabilitation center within a refugee camp in Jordan — an experience that deepened her commitment to culturally responsive care.
She specializes in neurodiversity-affirming, sensory-informed care. She is passionate about helping children build skills through play, connection, and meaningful experiences, and she believes that when children understand their bodies and feel supported, they grow into the most confident, authentic versions of themselves.
Leadership & community work
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Li has held leadership roles launching multiple autism clinics and overseeing developmental therapy teams — occupational, speech, and music therapists. She has also worked to make community spaces more welcoming and accessible for sensory-sensitive children and their families.
Outside the therapy bag
You'll find her outdoors, traveling, hosting themed dinners for friends, thrifting, at a spin class, or gardening with her husband in their community garden.
