Workshops & events

From time to time I run free, parent-focused workshops around Greater Boston. They're a relaxed way to learn practical strategies and ask questions, no appointment needed.

Picky Eaters Workshop

The Mill Cafe · 14 Mill Street, Arlington, MA · Free · In person

Is mealtime becoming a daily challenge? Does your child eat only a handful of foods, refuse to try new ones, or become upset at the sight of certain textures? Join me for a free, parent-focused workshop designed to help you better understand picky eating and walk away with practical strategies you can use at home.

In this 45-minute interactive session, you'll learn:

  • Why picky eating happens, and why it's often more than "just being picky"
  • How sensory processing, oral motor skills, and anxiety can influence eating
  • Simple, evidence-informed strategies to reduce mealtime stress
  • Ways to encourage food exploration without pressure or power struggles
  • Signs that your child may benefit from additional feeding support

It's designed for parents and caregivers of toddlers and young children who struggle with picky eating, limited food variety, or mealtime challenges, with time for questions and discussion. This is a free community event, and registration is recommended as space is limited.
